# StatsMapped > Public data for Ireland and the UK: housing, crime, health, the economy and social welfare, from official publishers, updated on each publisher's own schedule. Every figure carries its own caveats — where a statistic is published for a wider area than requested, or where the publisher itself flags it as unreliable, the page says so. Areas and units, stated here because every page assumes them: Irish figures are reported by county, in euro — a few datasets are additionally published by local authority or local electoral area, and those are separate series from separate publishers, not finer-grained versions of the county figure. UK figures are reported by local authority district, identified by its ONS GSS code, in pounds sterling. Nothing here converts between euro and sterling, and no series spans both countries: an Irish figure and a UK figure are never two points on one comparable line. Machine-readable metadata for agents: an Open Knowledge Format bundle describing every metric, dataset, caveat and comparability verdict is at https://statsmapped.com/okf/ (the bundle root is /okf/; its links are relative to that root). It covers Ireland only for now. ## Ireland - [Home](https://statsmapped.com/ireland): every county, with links to each one's own datasets - [Rankings](https://statsmapped.com/ireland/rankings/sale-price): every county ranked, one page per dataset - [Comparisons](https://statsmapped.com/ireland/compare): hand-picked pairs of Irish datasets plotted against each other, each with its own correlation statistic and an explicit "a pattern across areas, not a cause" caveat — StatsMapped's own analysis, not a publisher's - [Tender awards](https://statsmapped.com/ireland/tender-awards): searchable public-procurement contract data - [Live tender opportunities](https://statsmapped.com/ireland/live-tenders): currently open public-procurement notices (TED) - [Sources and licensing](https://statsmapped.com/ireland/sources): publisher, licence and update cadence for every dataset ## United Kingdom - [Home](https://statsmapped.com/united-kingdom): every local authority, with links to each one's own datasets - [Rankings](https://statsmapped.com/united-kingdom/rankings/sale-price): every local authority ranked, one page per dataset - [Comparisons](https://statsmapped.com/united-kingdom/compare): hand-picked pairs of UK datasets plotted against each other, each with its own correlation statistic and the same "pattern, not cause" caveat - [Sources and licensing](https://statsmapped.com/united-kingdom/sources): publisher, licence and update cadence for every dataset. No UK tender-awards/live-tenders equivalent exists yet, omitted rather than mislinked, same call the site itself makes elsewhere ## API - [/api/v1](https://statsmapped.com/openapi.json): documented, unauthenticated JSON API for every figure on the site, both countries - [Using the API](https://statsmapped.com/api): how to call it, error shapes, rate limits, MCP access - [Ask AI](https://statsmapped.com/api/chat): natural-language questions answered from this site's own published data only, POST-only, human-verified (Cloudflare Turnstile) — not for automated/crawler use - [MCP server](https://statsmapped.com/.well-known/mcp.json): hosted Model Context Protocol endpoint at `https://mcp.statsmapped.com/mcp` (Streamable HTTP), no install and no key — an agent calls this data as tools instead of parsing these pages. `pip install statsmapped-mcp` runs the same tools over stdio. - [Comparability check](https://statsmapped.com/api/v1/comparisons/check?stat_key_a=completions&stat_key_b=sale_price): before correlating any two datasets from this site, ask whether doing so is legitimate. Answers yes / no / unknown with reasons — "yes" only for a pair a human has vetted, "no" when the two share no geography level at all. Prefix with a country (/united-kingdom/api/v1/...) for UK stats.
