Irish public data, by county

Why the caveats matter

Every figure carries the publisher's own caveats. Where a statistic is published for a wider area than the one you clicked, or where the publisher itself flags it as unreliable, the page says so rather than quietly rounding it off.

Privacy

StatsMapped publishes public government statistics. This page lists what the site itself collects, who it shares data with, and for how long.

What is collected

  • Newsletter signups (email address only) -- kept while the subscription is active, removed on unsubscribe.
  • Feedback submissions (email address and your comment) -- kept for review, not published.
  • AI chat questions (the text you type and the answer you were given) -- no name, IP address or account is stored alongside it. Questions may be reviewed to help us understand where the chat gives a good answer and where it doesn't.
  • Anonymous usage counts (e.g. how often a button is clicked) -- no personal information, cannot be traced back to a visitor.

Who this is shared with

  • Cloudflare -- every request to this site passes through Cloudflare's network for security and delivery.
  • Resend -- sends newsletter and feedback-confirmation emails on this site's behalf.
  • Anthropic -- the AI chat feature sends your question to Anthropic's Claude API to generate an answer from this site's own published data.

StatsMapped does not sell data to anyone, and does not use it for advertising.
