UK public data, by local authority district
StatsMapped

Public-procurement contracts awarded under CPV category 42 (Industrial machinery) in the last 12 months, by local authority, competition type and threshold level.

Why the caveats matter

Every figure carries the publisher's own caveats. Where a statistic is published for a wider area than the one you clicked, or where the publisher itself flags it as unreliable, the page says so rather than quietly rounding it off.

The UK's four nations publish separately, so some figures stop at a border: house sale prices cover England and Wales, road collisions Great Britain. Pupil absence is published for England, but not every English district individually — some are reported only as part of their wider county. An area with fewer datasets isn't missing data — either its nation publishes that statistic through a different body, or (pupil absence only) its own district isn't reported separately.

Industrial machinery — tender awards

Public-procurement contracts awarded under CPV category 42 (Industrial machinery) in the last 12 months, in aggregate — by council, competition type and threshold level. Individual awards are on the filtered search and browse page.

Supplier identity is never aggregated on this page — a winning bidder's name is often a person's name, not a company's, so it follows the same registered-access rule as the browse page's supplier search.

Last 12 months

Since October 2025: 189 awards worth £982,864,894 combined.

Framework agreements can dominate a year's total: A large share of awarded value comes from framework agreements, whose published value is often the framework's ceiling — the maximum that can be drawn down over its full, often multi-year, lifetime — rather than money spent in the year it was awarded. Checked directly against real data: a single council's own largest year can be dominated by framework agreements alone. A single large framework can make one year look far larger than its neighbours without that reflecting actual annual spend.

Single-bid contracts

In the last 12 months, 16 of 138 contracts with a recorded bid count (12%) had only one bid. See these contracts → The single-bid-rate ranking shows a different figure for the same measure — it uses a fixed calendar year, not the trailing 12 months shown here.
